Cameron Sewell-Snyder, a northern California native, is a saxophonist, woodwind doubler, pianist, and composer in the Philadelphia area. He started playing saxophone at 11 years old and began to perform professionally at age 15.
Recently, Cameron has had the opportunity to be a member of the New York Youth Symphony large jazz ensemble for the 2021-2022 season, having had the opportunity to play at iconic New York venues such as Birdland, Dizzy’s Club, National Sawdust and The New York Times Center. Cameron has worked under and alongside artists such as Melissa Aldana, Shenel Johns, Benny Benack III, Mike Boone, and Mike Moreno.
Cameron currently attends Temple University in Philadelphia PA, under the direction of Tim Warfield, Dick Oatts, and Terrel Stafford.
