About
From NorCal to New Yorkby way of Philly and Amsterdam
Cameron Sewell is a saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator whose voice draws on both the American and European jazz traditions.
Born in Northern California and now based full-time in Brooklyn, Cameron has performed at Birdland, Dizzy's Club, National Sawdust and The New York Times Center. Most recently he played the Bimhuis in Amsterdam with his band KOLLAGE.
He has shared the stage with Melissa Aldana, Shenel Johns and Joe Locke. He studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, graduated magna cum laude from Temple University's Boyer College of Music in 2024, and earned his master's in jazz saxophone performance at the Manhattan School of Music in 2026.
